Beyonce is a pro at knowing what to do to hit the headlines and a recent photoshoot that saw her put on fun fancy dress inspired by African tribes demonstrates this.

The singer has swapped her revealing stage outfits for a leopard-print top and woven clothes in a shoot for L'Officiel magazine.

Kids put on children’s fancy dress to celebrate new Disney book

Youngsters in Grimsby are likely to have had a great time when they put on children's fancy dress to celebrate the release of a Disney book.

They turned up at the West Marsh Children's Centre recently sporting their best Woody and Buzz Lightyear costumes in honour of the new Toy Story 2 Disney graphic novel.

The Grimsby Telegraph told how children, toddlers and babies all took part in dressing up, putting on their best cowboy shirts or space outfits.

Mum escorted out of Disneyland over Princess fancy dress fiasco

It may be famous as a place of wonder and merriment, but you’d better not venture into Disneyland Paris if you’re wearing a princess fancy dress costume.

Natasha Narula from Coventry found this out the hard way recently when she took her little girl Drew to the theme park and decided to dress up.

Admittedly, it wasn’t the best costume, given that it was made of an old charity shop wedding dress, but you’d have thought that staff would have given her full marks for effort.
