A huge group of women donned pink feather boas and similar sexy fancy dress items over the weekend in order to raise money for a hospice.
More than 2,000 people took part in the Midnight Walk in Ipswich in Sunday (May 23rd 2010) to generate vital funds for St Elizabeth Hospice.
They set off at the city’s football stadium and walked eight miles for the charity, which took an average of two hours, according to the East Anglian Daily Times.
Organiser Emily Sullivan said: "It was a great atmosphere but also emotional too."
She added that the women could have raised a whopping £250,000, even more than last year.
However, they may have had a good reason to be motivated once they got to St Augustine’s roundabout.
A group of hunky men had been asked to gather there dressed in Strippers Kits, complete with bare chests, collars and cuffs, in order to cheer the plucky girls on.
No wonder they completed the course so fast!
