With all the excitement of the Queens Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics fast approaching here in Britain the build up to the Euros hasn’t been as newsworthy as it usually is. However, with the tournament starting tomorrow and Britain’s collective hangover from the Jubilee celebrations finally subsiding its time to get excited for some football and what better way to show your national colours than with our fantastic collection of England fancy dress costumes.
The organizers behind RockNess have announced the festivals very first official fancy dress theme since its founding in 2006. The RockNess 2012 theme is Monsters & Aliens which will mean the beautiful scenery that surrounds the shores of Loch Ness Scotland is set to be invaded by more than just one monster during the 8th – 10th of June this year.
With the Queens Diamond Jubilee fast approaching Mars have rolled out a special red, white and blue M&Ms promotion pack to get the celebrations started on the sweet side.
The Union Jack themed TV advertisement aired on the 27th of May and will run for four weeks consecutively. The advert is set in a sitting room lounge where the Yellow M&M tries on a series of stereotypical British outfits including; a punk look, posh look, and a British fancy dress costume while a jubilee party can be seen taking place on the street outside. The ad closes with the strapline, “Red, white and blues only, sorry yellow”.
