Girls Aloud to headline 2012 music event?

It has been reported that Girls Aloud could be set to make a comeback next year as part of a massive gig to celebrate the 2012 London Olympics.

According to the Sun, the fivesome are keen to return to the stage together to mark the tenth year since the group was created by Popstars: The Rivals.

Although they wanted to play Glastonbury, the event is taking a break next year, so the girls set their sights on the Olympics gig at London's O2.

Ozzy Osbourne to be given legend title by Kerrang!

Ozzy Osbourne is to be honoured as a music legend at the 2011 Kerrang! Awards, which will coincide with the magazine's 30th birthday.

He is to be given the accolade for his lifetime of achievements on June 9th 2011 and is also to play in a special show at the Hammersmith Apollo to continue the celebrations on June 21st.

Ozzy said he is delighted to have been recognised by the publication and added that he is looking forward to seeing his fans "going f***ing

The Stone Roses are said to be on the brink of reuniting after burying the hatchet on an old feud.

According to the Sun, lead singer Ian Brown and guitarist John Squire – who famously fell out after Squire left the band in 1996 – recently met up at the funeral of their former bass player Gary 'Mani' Mounfield's mother.

They managed to break the ice and were soon talking about coming back to the music scene.

Fans of The Foo Fighters are sure to be pleased to hear that they can stream the band's new album ahead of its official release.

Wasting Light is not available to download or buy until April 12th 2011, but lead singer Dave Grohl has put the record on the Foos website now so that anyone who wants to can have a listen.

Featuring the singles Rope, White Limo and Bridge Burning, this will be the seventh studio album the rockers have created.
